Can I directly buy a casket for myself or my loved one?
Yes, you can buy directly from us or you can ask your funeral director or other death care professional to contact us to coordinate details. The Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) Funeral Rule makes sure that anyone can use their chosen casket.
We are ready to work directly with your family to answer questions and fulfill your needs, or we can coordinate seamlessly with your chosen death care professional (such as a funeral home, cemetery, or home funeral guide). We maintain a small inventory of finished products ready for immediate preparation, ensuring a timely process when time is of the essence.
Can I buy a casket even if I don’t need it yet?
Yes, but unfortunately we do not have the capacity to store it for you. If you have somewhere dry and without many temperature fluctuations, you can buy at any point and store it until you need it.
Do you deliver?
We offer free delivery to homes within 30 miles of Salem, OR, and to funeral homes or cemeteries within 50 miles of Salem, OR. We can deliver beyond that for an additional mileage-based fee. Or, you are welcome to pick up your order directly at our workshop in Salem, OR.
How can I plan a green burial?
While our caskets and shrouding boards can be used for green (also called natural) burials, you do need to coordinate with a natural burial ground, hybrid cemetery, or, for a home burial, the local jurisdiction. Please review our Burial & Funeral Resources page for more info.
